Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress from the US. Her most well-known character is Skyler White on The AMC series Breaking Bad, for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding Supporting Actress for a Drama Series. In addition, she has played Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love performing in the Preparatory school when her family moved to Ohio towards the end of 1970. She attended Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her professional career as a Chicago-based theatre actor for a few years. Her next move was to film and television. Anna's first major role was Arden as she appeared in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. The actress continued to make appearances as an actor in number of television shows and films like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue until the late 1990's, when she was tapped in a recurring role as Jean Ward in The Practice. At the beginning of 2000 she was assigned to Deadwood as Martha Bullock for two full seasons. Skyler played her part in Breaking Bad. Sully The Deadwood film and several other films also featured her. Gunn appeared on stage to play the role of David Schwimmer in Sex With Strangers. In addition, she was a part of Numbered Day, which is a podcast comprising four audio plays. Breaking Bad's story is often revolves around the love story between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their strained relationship. The tension in their relationship and the final conclusion of the relationship resemble the final years in Walter White's story.
